Wayside House has been helping women for over 50 years. We have four programs which address women’s specific needs. We treat each person in a holistic manner, addressing not only chemical addiction, but the coexisting concerns of each woman. While at Wayside, a woman may find herself addressing parenting concerns, emotion management, educational needs, job skills, spirituality, medical needs for herself and her children and myriad other issues.
Wayside recognizes that for many women, their addiction is coexistent with mental health concerns. We work to address any mental health issues they may have. They may receive testing with a psychologist or a referral to a therapist or physician to help receive appropriate treatment to aid in maintaining sobriety.
We value each person as an individual and believe that all of us can contribute to our community.
As you browse through our website, read the stories that appear on each page. You will learn about the women who have journeyed through our programs.
